Un-Red cup

un-red-cup-side.jpgun-red-cup-top.jpgThis cup is out of porcelain, and because it dried before I could impress designs around the rim, I decided to do a solid color instead of a clear one.  Unfortunately, this red turns clear unless it’s reduced (denied oxygen), so it’s only red on the inside.

    Somehow, an un-red cup is more interesting than a plain-red cup would have been. Especially if you make more and they’re all un-red in different ways.
