Dear Blog friends,
Book three in the Seabingen series is up. You can get it on Smashwords, or Kindle. It’s $2.99 at both places.
My friend Keyan Bowes helped me with last-minute typos and inconsistency errors. She lobbied for a different title, but I couldn’t come up with one I’d liked better (and it took quite a while to carve and burn the title on the stake) so I left the title as is. I’m happy with the cover, at least. I have a plan for a video to make with that stake. I hope to make it this weekend and post it on YouTube. Come back for a link.
I hope you enjoy the third (but not final) book of the Seabingen series. I’ve already started writing (re-writing) book four. I have the general plot in my head, and I’m 3500 words into the story. Book four’s title was FAERIE KILLER but as I’m changing the plot, the title may well change to something else.
Frankly, after spending the past five months doing nothing but revise and prep novels for publication, it’s nice to start on something new. Okay, so it’s not NEW new, but I’m at least putting blank words on a page, even if I plan to reuse chunks of the earlier version at some point. I estimated originally that I would have it out by Christmas, but that was before I realized I had to rewrite the whole novel pretty much from scratch. I’ll post some updates about my revision/writing process later. I think that can be interesting, to peer into someone else’s writing style. It’s kind of like peering into someone else’s kitchen. 🙂
I’ve been obsessively hitting “refresh” to see when this novel was live on kindle, and it just now came up, so you could conceivably be the first to buy it if you hurry.
Deine,
Kater

For what it is worth I like DAYRUNNER as title, but I don’t like FAERIE KILLER. It doesn’t work for me, it sounds more like a kid’s book where they have to title the book in such a way that the tykes know what it’s about.
