Changer’s Turf Published!

Changer’s Turf is finally published. Went over the digital proof last night and checked it for errors. How many proofs was that? 6? 7? Thanks so much to all my helpful mistake-finders!

Amazon will take a little longer, but not much. I estimate it should be available on Amazon by January 1, 2014.

I wish I could say it’s a huge relief, like a big check off the “to do” list.  Honestly? The final release date feels anticlimactic. It’s just one more step in a long journey. Celebrating the release feels like celebrating a 3rd grade graduation.

Next step is to get the ebook versions out. That shouldn’t take too long. It used to be a huge pain, but I’m better at it now. I’ll try to do the Smashwords and the Kindle more or less at the same time, and then I’ll post links here. You’ll be able to get them on Smashwords a little bit earlier than Sony and Nook and Kobo and the rest, (and also, I make a slightly higher royalty).  After I have the eversions squared away, I’ll start posting chapters up here on the blog.

Let me warn readers in advance that this book is quite dark, even a little darker than FAERIE KILLER. In it, terrible things happen to nice people. There’s rape and murder and people being mean to children. It has a happy ending, but if you’re squeamish, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
