This was one of the stamped clay tiles I made at Laurie Mika’s workshop this summer. People who are familiar with Laurie Mika’s work may recognize this stamp, because she’s used it often. I added the crown charm from a collection I’d bought on my own. One of my co-students generously let me use her tear-shaped rhinestones.
I’ve tried to use rhinestones in polymer clay before only to find that I had been using the cheap acrylic kind instead of the glass/crystal. Don’t do that, btw. It’s a mess.
What looks like patches of unpainted white around the edges is actually silver rub-n-buff polish on there.
