The pot that inspired me for my early summer pottery session had a kind of repetitive dot pattern that I found very pleasing. My own attempts to replicate this were less-than-successful. For this one, I used a stencil and sponged wax resist to let the soldate 60 show through under the cranberry glaze. The circles aren’t perfect. Someone else in class managed to make perfect circle dots by using the wooden handle of a brush. if I had known, I might have tried that.
