Un-Red bowl
This bowl had the same problem as the other one. It turned a strange color on the inside, which must have meant that I put a second glaze coat on it, but I don’t remember doing so. At least you can see the stamps along the rim.

Varnish Emu Cup

Un-Red cup
This cup is out of porcelain, and because it dried before I could impress designs around the rim, I decided to do a solid color instead of a clear one. Unfortunately, this red turns clear unless it’s reduced (denied oxygen), so it’s only red on the inside.
