To make the inside of this paperweight, I used the “hodge podge” frit, which was all the scraps of frit that got contaminated with other colors. I think it looks better than any one or two colors used individually.

I’m a few weeks behind on posting my creations, because I like to leave each photo up for a few days before I post the next one. At this rate it will be May before I post what I’m working on now. Stay tuned for my lampworking fish and my newest little books.

This was my biggest lampshade, and the colors turned out mottled because they interacted with each other chemically.  Unfortunately, I think I got a drop of water on the base of it when I was getting it off the puntie, as when it came out of the annealer it had two huge cracks on either …

I wanted the edge of this bowl to be fluted like the petals of a lotus, but it spun out of kilter while I was flaring it out.  It will still work for floating roses in, assuming I get some roses on my new bushes.
